Our second day took us from Fort Collins to Estes Park, via highway 34 through the mountains. With breathtaking scenery all around, our riders sped to their destination with incredible speed – despite a somewhat hairy adventure across an unpaved, unprotected stretch of road with a cliff on one side and a canyon on the other… By early afternoon, everyone was safe and sound at the Christian Church of Estes Park, which provided us with fantastic hospitality. In the evening, we screened CARE’s documentary “A Powerful Noise,” then hurried to bed to rest up for our final day of riding.
